Denise Nicolau has turned her love of cooking delicious and nutritious meals into a thriving business. Real Food Meals are mouth-watering and healthy restaurant-quality meals that are delivered directly to her clients. She is living her food dream.
Nothing compares with feeding her clients healthy and delectable meals that they enjoy. According to Denise, "Food should not only nourish the body. It should nourish the soul." With that in mind, Denise cooks every meal with love, believing that energy from the cook imbues the food with that energy.
Her clients are devotees of Real Food Meals, and order week after week. And they refer their friends too. After all, who doesn't love yummy meals lovingly cooked from the freshest possible ingredients – delivered to their home or office.
Her hard yards paid off
Sourcing the perfect ingredients and cooking balanced, nutritious meals takes constant effort. And Denise has put in some hard yards to get to this point.

After completing a business degree in her home country, she brought her energy and vibrant style from Brazil, along with her business acumen, to the shores of Australia, embarking on commercial training in Sydney as a chef so she could work in restaurants.

Sheer grit and determination fuelled her passion. Denise worked her way up from supplying desserts to cafes and restaurants to working with start-up food businesses.
​
She went on to become the Head Chef of Braza, which was the best specialty restaurant in New South Wales in 2010. And in 2019, a major catering business won an award for excellence as the best corporate caterer, with Denise as Senior Sous Chef.

"My business degree and experience helped me combine my passion for cooking with my organisational skills. Making sure hygiene and food safety standards are always followed 100%, without compromise" said Denise.
The future?
Never one to rest on her laurels, Denise has plans to expand her business to enable more people to reap the benefits of Real Food Meals. She knows that will take time and a huge amount of work and planning. But when you're driven like Denise, anything is possible.
